This year has seen a host of ESL One events take place and they have all been spectacular – and now there is another on the horizon with the return of ESL One Hamburg.
October will see Hamburg take center stage, for the third time now, for another magnificent ESL One tournament. The event will feature 12 teams from around the world fighting over a total of six days for their share of a $300,000 prize pool. ESL have also promised a new and improved “Artists Alley” at the Barclaycard Arena for this event which includes team signings, interactive workshops and the very well-known ESL cosplay contest – which always features some of the absolute best cosplay from around the globe.
Senior Vice President of Product at ESL, Ulrich Schulze, had the following to say on the return of the event,
ESL have definitely given us some great Dota 2 experiences this year and with barely half of the year passed, we’re sure to have more – especially with ESL One Hamburg coming our way. Tickets for the event will go on sale this weekend, May 25th, and you can find all the information you need on the ESL website here. After the way in which ESL One Birmingham 2019 sales went, these are sure to go just as fast.
ESL One Hamburg 2018 could be seen as the beginning of the prolific rise of Team Secret as they went on to dominate the Dota 2 Pro Circuit so far – could we see the rise of a new team after The International 2019 or will Team Secret’s reign of power continue on. October 22nd 2019 will be when we find out as we find out for sure.
